FossilCars.com was founded to provide a place where sellers of classic and specialty cars can advertise to a wide range of potential buyers - and where buyers can find a wide variety of vehicles to choose from. Both buyers and sellers can find links on the site to respectable companies that provide services to owners of classic cars.

There are four managing partners: Frank Nagy, Mike Schon, Russ Schon and Dave Schon. (Yes, three are brothers.) Each has had a successful career prior to the launch of FossilCars.com, with many combined years of experience in automotive sales, consumer products sales, marketing and technology.

Over a year was spent in developing the FossilCars.com web site and some very specific objectives were incorporated in order to make it more valuable to you, our customer.

Easy Navigation
One of the things that we noticed as we did our market research and looked at other sites is that many of them took too many steps to navigate, were confusing, too slow - or all three. We've tried to design the site so that you get to where you want to go as quickly and clearly as possible.

Marketing
We've committed ourselves to extensively marketing the FossilCars.com site to search engines, clubs and trade publications. We know that our success in these areas brings more buyers and sellers to the site - making it more valuable to everyone.

Credibility
In order to earn and maintain your trust, we made a decision to include only Suppliers that we believe are legitimate and trustworthy - and serve the collector car market well. We feature these Suppliers in our "Best Suppliers" area. We strive not to clutter the main Web site pages with irritating banner ads, flashy gimmicks - or anything else that will keep our customers from quickly and easily getting to where they want to go.

Recommended Suppliers
We took it upon ourselves to research a large number of companies that service the classic car market and to narrow down the list to those that we feel are the very best. Links are provided in our Recommended Supplier area. While we can't guaranty the performance of other companies, we want you to know that none of these companies solicited us. Their inclusion is an attempt to provide more value to you, our customer.

Clubs and Shows
Auto clubs and events are very important to us, as they are to many of our customers. Our web site has been designed so that club members and those involved with shows may easily publicize their information through FossilCars.com.
