Alfa Romeo is a name that is synonymous with sporty style and classic elegance, and this seminal brand has been able to withstand the test of time and manufacture stunning motor cars for the last 100 years. Alfa Romeo was founded back in 1910 in Milan, Italy, and since the mid 1980s they have been a division of Fiat. Throughout their history they have been committed to innovative engineering and unparalleled performance.
Early on the Alfa Romeo was aimed toward racing, its first big success taking place in 1920 with a win at Mugello by Giuseppe Campari. Subsequently, the Alfa Romeo P2Grand Prix car won the Grand Prix world championship in 1925, and the Alfa Romeo legacy began in earnest. By the early 1950s the Alfa Romeo was the dominant vehicle in Grand Prix events.
