The Bronco’s competitor, the Jeep, is another favorite collector’s item when it comes to vintage trucks. Chrysler only acquired the Jeep brand in 1987, but the unique trucks have been in production since the first Willys MB in 1941. They were military vehicles, designed to take soldiers into any kind of terrain, but were also available to civilians beginning in 1945. Today, the name Jeep also serves as a term that defines a certain type of four-wheel drive truck.

Any Jeep from the classic era is a good buy for a collector of vintage trucks, and so too are Ford F-series models, Broncos, and a host of other brands and nameplates. Old Chevy trucks, and Dodge pick-ups are tough to beat as well for any fan of the vintage truck.
