The Volvo Auto Museum in ChicagoThe Volo Auto Museum is a unique combination of classic cars both on exhibit and for sale. You can even sell your car here on consignment. Volo cars is located in the suburb of Volo, north of Chicago. It is situated in a large antique mall and is a great place to bring the family for a day of checking out cool cars or to pick up a classic to bring home.

Volvo Auto MuseumThe exhibits at Volo cars include a Hollywood section where you can view famous vehicles from TV and the movies. Some are real, while others are extremely well-made replicas. The display includes Batmobiles from the TV show and one of the movies, the Interceptor from Mad Max, the killer car from Christine, the real General Lee from the first season of The Dukes of Hazard, and a replica of the Delorean from Back to the Future.

Additional exhibits that are fun to see at Volo cars include the display of military vehicles. You can view helicopters, tanks, jet engines, armored trucks, and more. In the strange vehicles display, you can see a roller skate car, a guitar car, a piano car, and even a Bugs Bunny roadster. In the vintage car section there are a number of American classics on display including muscle cars from the sixties, hot rods from the fifties, and earlier antique cars. You can even go home with one because many of the vintage vehicles at Volo cars are for sale.

Once you have seen all of the displays, you can enjoy a meal and a drink at the Betty Boop Burger Bar or the Outdoor Grill and Beer Garden. If the extensive displays seem a little overwhelming, take a trolley tour and see the highlights. Whether you are looking for a fun outing for the day, you hope to take a classic car home, or you want to sell one of the cars in your own collection, you can do it all at Volo cars.
