The Volo Auto Museum has over 300 classic and muscle cars on display, making it the World’s Largest Muscle Car Collection, and all of them are for sale. You can expect to see anything from classic cars used in the movies, to pre-1950’s classics, to customized vehicles! Their inventory is spectacular!
This museum not only offers a wide-array of classic and muscle cars to enjoy, but they also offer something for everyone else in the family. First, there is the George Barris TV and Movie Car Collection that features cars that were “kustomized” by George Barris for famous movies and includes other famous cars that were collected from famous TV shows and movies. You can see “General Lee” from Dukes of Hazzard, “KITT” from Knight Rider, the “Batmobile” and many others. Next, there is immense selection of shopping opportunities on the grounds of the Volo Museum. They have a gift shop attached to the museum that offers automotive gifts like t-shirts, hats, posters, signs, diecasts and books. They also have 5 malls on site, with 3 dedicated to antiques and 2 dedicated to specialty gifts. Finally, they offer the “Military Experience” that offers access to a collection of military vehicles; you can explore tanks, helicopters, jet engines and other pieces of military history.
If you are looking to have your own event or want a piece of history to display at an event, the Volo museum is the place to go, as well! They offer an on-site “groomed park” that will comfortably accommodate 250 people, where you can hold car club meetings, arts & craft fairs, festivals or other events that fit your needs. They offer two on-site food vendors for your convenience: Betty Boop Burger Bar and Outdoor Grill and Beer Garden. Volo Museum also offers to rent out their famous TV and Movie cars for your events off-site.Finally, the museum holds its own events that you can attend, such as a spring sale and various car shows and festivals.
Admission to the museum is $9.95 for adults, $7.95 for seniors (65+) or for military personnel with an I.D., $5.95 for children 5-12 and FREE for children 4 or under and for military personnel in uniform. The museum offers memberships that include lifetime memberships, family memberships and individual memberships, as well. They also offer a discount on group tours of 15 people or more.
