Why Join a Car Club
If you are a car lover who has become dedicated to a particular make and model, then it sounds like it might be time to join a car club. It does not matter if you are infatuated with a Mazda Miata or a Dodge Dart, you should be able to find a car club either in your local community or somewhere in your state.
Today’s car clubs are filled with men and women who absolutely love their cars. They are known for taking excellent care of their favorite cars, but they are not afraid of getting behind the wheel and going for a drive. Joining a car club does not mean that you are required to join every event; many members attend a few each year.
Let’s say you joined a Dodge Dart car club. You will most likely have to pay a small annual fee, which covers the cost to print newsletters or maintain a website. Your Dodge Dart car club will most likely have a car show of its own, where you can show off your 1961 Dodge Dart and others might show off their 2013, 1964, or 1976 models. You also might join a few of the friends that you make and participate at a cruise or a state-wide auto show.
When you join a car club, you get access to low prices on parts and labor. You also get lowered admissions to many car-related events. Many car club members end up becoming life-long friends due to their common love of Dodge Darts, Mazda Miatas, or Ford Fairlanes. Some car clubs even have competitive events like road rallies, scavenger hunts, and race track days.
If you are in a community that does not have many car clubs, you can always join one online. There are several online clubs that might have meetings once or twice a year. You will be able to participate in online forums, discussing the latest finds and reconditioning projects your fellow Dodge Dart lovers undertake. Whether you decide to join a local car club or an online club, you are bound to find a place to fit in with people who love cars just as much as you do.
