BMW 507s For Sale

The BMW 507, a roadster produced from 1956 to 1959, was the brainchild of an American importer. Max Hoffman hoped to get BMW to make a sports car that would fill a mid-range price bracket. So, the 507 was born, but it didn’t work out as planned. The production costs turned out to be too high and the price in the American market was too much for most buyers. As a result, BMW saw serious losses from the 507 roadster, even though it was a stylish and well-made car. Only 252 cars were made, which means the 507 is a desirable collectible today.
