Ford Fairmonts For Sale

Produced for just six years from 1978 to 1983, the Ford Fairmont, along with sister model the Mercury Zephyr, introduced Ford’s long-running Fox platform. The Fox was a rear-wheel drive platform used on compact and mid-sized cars through 1993. The Fairmont was offered in coupe, two- and four-door sedan, and station wagon body styles with a wide choice of engines and transmissions for the consumer. For 1984, Ford replaced the Fairmont with the Tempo as it transitioned to building more front-wheel drive cars. Today, you can find a classic Ford Fairmont by searching the ads at FossilCars.
