The Opel GT was a sports car made by the German GM subsidiary from 1968 to 1973. The GT originated as a concept car for the Frankfurt and Paris shows of 1965, but was eventually turned into a production vehicle. The styling of the good-looking GT is often compared to Corvettes of the same time period. The production GT borrowed much from the Opel Kadett and was powered by an inline-four engine. In 2007, the GT made a comeback, with a model based on the Saturn Sky. Today, the new models are nice, but fans of the classics prefer the original. Find one by searching the ads here at FossilCars.
