I have a 1951 Ford pickup truck that I'm trying to restore. I've been doing some work under the hood for a few weeks now to get it back in running condition. It's running now but it seems like it's idling really high. Does anyone know what the engine idle speed should be for this truck?

I'm not sure what the idle speed for that truck should be off the top of my hand, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. Have you tried searching Google?

DartsKing - Do you have a manual transmission or an automatic transmission? If the truck has a manual transmission in it, the engine idle speed is 475. If the truck has an automatic transmission, the engine idle speed is 440.
