I am thinking about purchasing a 1967 Chevy Impala. I have been wanting a 4 door, yet all I can find are 2 door cars.
Is there any possible way I can convert a 2 door into a 4 door? I am told the 2 door is worth more?

Yes, the 2 door models do cost more, not sure why though. I have a friend with a red '64 four door Impala so they are out there. You may need to search a little but I have never heard anything about fewer four doors being made or anything, so I can't explain the difficulty in finding one.

Wah I think that would be a major task and cost a fortune! If it is a burning passion inside you then perhaps it's something to try, but I'd rather spend the cash on something that is ready to go.

The two doors are always worth more, which I think is strange because they seem to be much easier to find. You would have to take it to the chop shop and have it torn apart and then put back together. If you have the money, it's very much worth it.

You could try extending the doors. Chopping them in half and making it a suicide door. Or you’re going to have to put a pillar in for the rear doors to mount to. If you get a 2 door suicide doors are sweet as hell.

I really, really want a '67 Chevy Impala. I used to have one when I went to college and it was wonderful. It was a boat but I loved it. That one was a four door and it was light gold in color. I remember coming home one night after classes and we were having a blizzard. I didn't have one bit of trouble getting home. Good times.

There are four door Impalas out there but they may be harder to find. I used to drive one too. I never did like a two door car myself. I had kids early and getting them in and out when they were little was a pain in a two door. I've had four door vehicles ever since.

I like the old Impalas, but my wife hates them. She says they are too big. Have you searched for a 4-door online? Can you get your hands on one of those classic car ad magazines that sometimes are found in the entrance of stores? I think I'd keep looking for a 4-door, at least for a while longer. An ad in Craigslist might get some results.

I would not even attempt to change a 2 door car in to a 4 door car. There are somethings you can do and some things you can't. I am sure it is possible, but it would take a crazy amount of time and money.

The 2 door models are always cost more. It's look very attractive and stunning. Actually, I used to drive one too. I also heard about the four doors Impala but I can't explain in detail.

Call me crazy, but I never realized that the Chevy Impala was around in the late 1960s. Was it a very popular vehicle back in the day?

Also, 2 doors are almost always worth more than 4 doors.

There are some cars that are just harder to find but if it really is a passion and you do not have the extra funds to convert it, I would continue with the hunt. Check online and local, honestly you might be able to find someone local (a dealer) willing to help in the hunt.
