My first car was a green 1949 Packard. I bought it in 1957 and I only paid $300 for it. When I left the service, I sold it for $350. Now I wish I'd hung on to it. Can you imagine now what it'd be worth?

If you had kept it in good shape you are talking like 5 digits there! That would be some kind of profit! At least you have the memories right?

Yeah, it was a sweet ride and my buddies and I had some good times in that car. I was only 19 years old so I was wild. I was in the Marines at the time and we would go out drinking when we all had leave.

You had no way of knowing what will happen after 40-50 years. Heck, maybe my regular car will be worth thousands when I'll be old. You hang on to the memories, as said above.
