I never knew there were so many options when deciding to put projector headlights. There are blue lenses, clear lenses, black housing. The list goes on. What type do you think is best? Can anyone recommend the best brand with no glare?

You could get an HID kit. They do not glare. They come with a remote control where you are able to focus the HID bulbs so that there is no glare.

I'm sorry to sound dumb, but what are projector headlights. I don't think I've every heard of them. But then maybe they are for more modern cars that my classic is. Fonzie could point me in the right direction to get some info on this?

I'm not sure about the brand, because I always just go with what the dealer things is best and let them worry about that part. I really like the ones with the blue tint. I just think they have a new and very fresh look about them

The projector headlights are more for your classic cars with a hemi that are used in racing. The road runner, Camaro’s etc. you get the picture. Projector headlights are safer in night driving and they enhance the look of your vehicle without blinding other drivers.

You don't sound dumb that is right these lights are used mostly but not always on newer cars. Here is an explination on how they work in a little more detail.
Between the reflector and the lens is a shade that is located at the image plane. As the light from the bulbs is projected, the shade provides a cutoff for the low beam. The shade is shaped and positioned in such a way that the sharpness of the light is controlled. It is also because of the shade that the light gives off a soft blue hue. I thought I would help out a little Fonzie, I am sort of an expert in this area.

I have heard they really improve your vision at night or when driving in fog. Is this true for you? My friend has them and he mentioned that you have to be sure to get the legal type. So be careful you don't end up with something that will get you a ticket!
