TOPIC: Vintage Whitewall Tires

Vintage Whitewall Tires 5 years, 10 months ago #1

Does anyone know where to find new vintage, whitewall tires? Are there any tire manufacturers left out there still creating these tires for antique cars?

It's not really easy to find "new" vintage whitewall tires. But you can always check on eBay for someone who might be selling them.

Like Fogey said, I don't know if you will find anyone out there still making new tires for old cars. I'd keep an eye on the local junk yards, as well as police auctions. You never know what you'll come across!

I think y'all may be right. Thanks for the ideas, though. I'll definitely be checking Ebay today, and maybe with some luck I can locate a nearby junk yard later this week.

If I were you, I would just run a Google search for something like, "vintage whitewall tires". See what you come up with, and then go from there. Also, it's probably a long shot, but you could always try Craigslist.

I agree with checking first eBay and then doing a Google search. I don't know about Craigslist, but then, people sell all kinds of stuff online these days.

One suggestion: yard sales. If you can find old stuff anywhere, it's at yard sales. If not, search on eBay although it might be a thorough search.
