I heard that old models are much easier to repair than new ones. New cars have everything computerized and for some reason it's hard to understand what needs to be done. What do you think ?

I definitely agree with this. Newer model cars are much more advanced than older model cars, between all of the computers, electronics, and safety features. I would much rather work on my classic car than my everyday car.

Yes, I do think it's easier to repair older cars over newer cars. Even mechanics will tell you that much. Older cars were simpler and didn't have anywhere near as much in them as newer cars. I rarely ever have to take my classic to a mechanic, but almost every problem I have with my new car has to be taken care of by a professional.
