Noble Automotive Ltd. is a renowned British Sports car manufacturer that favors low production, high-performance designs. Currently, Noble does not manufacture any of its models, as it sold the rights to its most recent models, the M12 and M400, to 1G Racing in 2007. It is still an active company however, and is in the process of developing a new model in two forms, the M15 and the high performance M600.
Noble introduced its first sports car, the Noble M10, in 1999 as a two-door, two-seat convertible powered by a 2.5-liter engine. Noble quickly moved into production of the M12, which cut off the production of the M10, making the M10 a very rare model. The M12 was released in 2003, featuring a full steel roll cage and a fiberglass composite body, allowing the Noble M12 to be both light and durable. The M12s successor, the M400, has been reported to reach 60 mph in 2.97 seconds. The Noble M14 debuted in 2004 at the British Motor Show, yet Noble ultimately scrapped the model in favor of developing the Noble M15.
Today, Noble has generated a significant motor enthusiast following by producing some of the fastest cars to date and by maintaining a certain level of elusiveness. The company stated that their premier model, the M600, will feature a Volvo twin-turbocharged V8 engine that will compete alongside the Ferrari F430.
