As the third largest city in the state of Kentucky, Bowling Green offers many reasons for car lovers to stop for a visit.

This museum is loaded with eye candy for Corvette fans. When visiting the museum, you can learn about the early days of the Corvette through the memorabilia, you can watch a film about the history of the car, and you can visit the store and cafe, too.

Once you are finished at the museum, you can head across the street and get a tour of the plant that manufactures the amazing Corvette. You do need to make reservations in advance. This is an experience that is unforgettable.

For 34 years, men and women who drive a Buick Gran Sport have been coming together to show off and race their speedy vehicles. The Gran Sport Nationals have been held in Bowling Green in the fall for many years. This popular event brings together many of the fastest production cars ever built for a weekend of serious speed. If you love the look, feel, and sound of Buick Gran Sport, it is worth the drive to see these cars drag race, do tricks, and burn out on the Beech Bend Raceway and Dragstrip.

Once you have seen enough of the cars on the road, you can visit the Holley Performance factory in town to see how they make parts for NASCAR and other speedy vehicles.
