Route 66 Classic Car Cruise
They say that it’s not the destination but the journey that really matters, and classic car fans certainly know what this is all about. Even if you’re taking a slow ride to nowhere you can have a fantastic time when you’re behind the wheel of a true American classic cruising down one of our historic highways.
And when you talk about historic highways in the United States, the first one that is going to come to mind is probably going to be Route 66. This iconic stretch of roadway was one of the first of its kind in the United States, becoming operational all the way back in 1926 during the adolescence of the automobile in America.
An Introduction – Car Cruises
Welcome to our first post! We were inspired to create a blog all about classic car cruises not only because of our enthusiasm for great classic cars and their history, but also because of the sheer number of car cruises that occur across America each year.
Car cruises often bring out some of the best things in American culture-a sense of community, the camaraderie of a common interest, and memories that transcend generations. It’s almost hard to believe that only a few generations ago, the thought of a car cruise was inconceivable, as cars themselves were only just beginning to be produced.
