1971 Ford Mustang's For Sale

The standard engine for the 1971 Ford Mustang is a 250-cubic-inch, six-cylinder engine except for the Mach 1 which came with a 210-horsepower, 302 V8. All models included a 429CJ cylinder block that included four-bolt mains, forged rods and pistons, a hydraulic cam, an 11.3:1 compression ratio and very large valves and ports with aluminum valve covers. A Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor came standard with the 249CJ. The Boss 351 engine was rated at 330 horsepower while the 429 engine was rated at 370 horsepower.
