From 1954 to 1965 Alfa Romeo produced its Giulietta model, a subcompact that was offered in sedan, convertible, and coupe body styles. During its long run, over 130,000 units of the popular car were sold to buyers. The original Guilietta was a coupe, also known as a Sprint, but a sedan and convertible were soon offered to round out the options. Alfa Romeo resurrected the name in 1977 for the Nuova Giulietta, a completely different car based on the Alfetta. Today, the Guilietta is a fun and desirable collectible.
