The Fiat Strada was a car sold in the U.S. that was badged the Ritmo in Europe. It was made from 1978 to 1988 and included three- and five-door hatchbacks, as well as a convertible version. The Strada was based on the earlier 128 and shared much of its running gear. In body and styling, however, the Strada was entirely different. At the time of its release, the Strada looked like nothing else on the road. The Strada came to the U.S. in 1979, but had a hard time finding customers. It was pulled in 1982.
