The Ford Gran Torino was a version of the intermediate Torino that had a production run from 1968 to 1976. In 1972 the Torino 500, a mid-level model, got rebadged as the Gran Torino. Buyers could get the Gran Torino as a four-door sedan, a two-door hardtop, or a two-door fastback, also known as the SportsRoof. With several engine options, the Gran Torino was a versatile car. It could be an affordable family car, or with the 429-cubic inch V8, more like a fast and powerful muscle car. All the Gran Torino models are collectible today and you can find one here at FossilCars.
