Ford Thunderbirds For Sale

The long-running Thunderbird nameplate from Ford began in 1955 and continued, nearly uninterrupted, until 2005. The first Ford Thunderbird was a response to the 1953 introduction of the Chevy Corvette and included a two-seater, coupe body style. The Thunderbird got off to a good start, but to improve sales even more, Ford opted to include more seats for the car’s second generation. The Thunderbird proved to be a popular, sporty car that had more versatility than a true sports car like the Corvette. All models are highly collectible today. You can track one down at FossilCars.
