Just 26 units of the Hudson Italia were built between 1953 and 1954. The car was a two-door coupe and compact car designed by both Hudson and Italian company Carrozzeria Touring. The platform came from the Hudson Jet, but the styling, body, and interior were entirely new. The purpose of the limited-production Italia was to create a concept car that would develop interest in the Hudson brand and to design a car for racing. The unusual styling of the Italia, as well as its rarity, makes it a very desirable collectible today. To track one down for your collection, begin searching at FossilCars.
