Mercury Cougars For Sale

The name Cougar was used at Mercury for decades from 1967 up to 2002 and was attached to many different types of cars. These included a pony car based on Ford’s Mustang, a personal luxury car, and a sporty compact. The first Mercury Cougar, introduced in 1967, gave the division its own, true pony car. It sat between the Mustang and the Thunderbird in Ford’s lineup and led the way in developing the iconic Cougar name for the brand. Today, the early pony car versions of the Mercury Cougar are most collectible and you can find one here at FossilCars.
