Plymouth manufactured the Belvedere from 1954 to 1970, although the name first appeared two years earlier on the Cranbrook Belvedere. In 1954 the Belvedere was Plymouth’s top car. It was a full-sized vehicle and included sedan, convertible, station wagon, and two-door hardtop body styles. Through several generations the Belvedere’s styling changed to keep up with the times and included more options for buyers. New body styles, engine choices, and trim levels were included, but by 1970 the Belvedere’s day was done. Today, all models are collectible and you can find one at FossilCars.
