1979 Lincoln Mark V Collector Series in Volo Illinois

 Vehicle Description
15,022 actual miles! One family owned since new. A woman purchased it, the son hung onto it when she passed. Most expensive American car made in 1979. The Collectors Series is fully loaded including extras only available on this model. It has its own umbrella, leather bound tool kit, a garage door opener kit, bucket seats with console and so much more. Original paperwork, Marti report, are included. The special gold emblem with the limited edition # and the door emblem with owners initials are still in original EXTERIOR: Beautiful midnight blue metallic with padded Landau top and matching padded trunk hump. The turbine wheels are color matched to the car, body side moldings are color matched. Grill has gold accents. Very original and in very nice shape. Has some rock chips in front, 1 door ding. No rust. The chrome, glass and rubber are excellent. Original Michelin INTERIOR: It is so luxurious. The soft cloth pillow top seats were considered an upgrade over leather. Rare bucket seats have full power. In the middle is a deluxe console with locking compartment, inside you will find the umbrella included with this model. The front portion opens up to a CB radio. Glove soft leather trim is used throughout including the entire dash pad, seat moldings, armrests and entire console. Overhead is a power sunroof with sunshade. The carpet is thick and plush. The visors have lighted vanity mirrors and I just discovered something really cool. Drivers visor has a garage door button and theres a sticker from Ford on the mirror with the codes. Guess what I found in the trunk still in the box? The digital controller that goes in the garage with a Lincoln logo still on it. Ive never seen one. Of course the car is also full of all the power accessories, climate control, cruise, tilt, lumbar etc. Has premium Quadraphonic stereo with power antenna. Everything appears to be working including the Cartier clock. Wood appliques are used on doors, dash and seat backs. Also has map pockets on the backs of the seats. It is absolutely like brand new in this car. Im literally sitting in here trying to find a flaw and I cant. The rear seat belts are still wrapped in plastic, ashtrays are shiny and believe me or not it smells ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has original 400 motor. It is just as it left the factory. Tags, stickers, ink stamps are still in place. Never monkeyed with, spray painted TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is fully lined in the same plush carpet thats in the interior. Even the bottom of the trunk lid, tire cover and even the jack is carpeted. The original spare tire has never been out of the trunk. Has original jack. The original leather wrapped tool kit unique to the Collector Series is strapped in place. It is 100% complete including a letter and contents card. Has everything from flares to bulbs, fuses and tools. The screwdriver even says Collector Series on the handle. It is like new in the trunk. The latches are still shiny, has factory ink stamp, weatherstrip still like UNDERSIDE: Very original. Not messed with, not spray painted over. Absolutely no rot, yes it has surface haze of rust on some suspension, bolts, brackets etc. The floors are pristine. It still has some assembly line paint markings and tags. Original exhaust with Ford muffler. Has C-6 automatic trans and disc brakes at all four This was the Flagship of the eloquent Lincoln line up. The Mark V is very desirable because of its style and size. Last year for full size. This one right here is the ultimate. Im going to go take a nap in the front seat I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now.
